Hello! These are my Nanbaka Building 5 dresses! My mother has spoken, she likes Samon and Liang’s! I always like to have my mommy’s opinion :)

Starting with Monkey’s design, I really like this one! There were things I tried, didn’t like, and then came up with a brilliant idea to fix! The biggest thing was the belt. I was trying to figure out how I’d implement the tail, because while I really like it, I just didn’t want it to be that way on the dress. I’ve always liked hair accessories, so with both LavenderTowne and Naruto in the back of my mind, I turned them into bun covers! I don’t know why I added the bells, but I think it was worth it cause they’re super cute.

Sigh~... it’s unavoidable. While I still adore the dress, I wish I could have done more. One thing you might notice is that there is no number!! How could I?!

Honestly, I‘m beginning to think I’m making my own little AU here where the characters from Nanbaka are cute girls with normal jobs and occupations. Qi is either a florist or a doctor/scientist of some sorts, which means he probably has a lab coat or apron. The lab coat I’m thinking about has a big 71 on the back and the apron has it on the corner.

Next is Upa! Deg Upa’s dress was a blast cause like Uno, there’s just a lot that I could use. Clearly not as much, but let’s take a look:

Her belt is his cheek swirls mixed with the tag on his forehead. I absolutely love thick belts, so it was a lot of fun! As for the hat, I love hats and I love small little details on said hats. Finally, S T R I P E S! Who would I be if any of these designs didn’t have stripes?

Finally, Liang!!! I love everybody in building 5, Liang being one of my favorites as well as the reason I wanted to work on building 5 dresses! When I was thinking about what his dress would look like, the first thing I ed was the outfit when he was training. I was intrigued by the unfamiliar style oand I wanted to use it somehow. Obviously, I changed it a bit, but I like it a lot. Hope you do too!
