Myers The Boogeyman

Today is John Carpenter’s birthday, and since he’s one of my favorite directors out there, I just had to draw something for the occasion. So, here is Michael Myers. I would’ve done the alien from The Thing but since it isn’t a mythical creature it wouldn’t have fit in, but he’s a boogeyman which counts as one according to the wiki.

This took a while but it wasn’t too hard to accomplish considering I practiced on faces the other day. The only thing that was a pain was shading it because I’m not so accustomed to realistic shading, but I think it came out okay. What I mean is that I think it’s okay on the level I’m on currently. In the future I would’ve used actual artist graphite so it’d be way smoother and worked on the hair more, but that’s all. So, to top it off, I hope you all like this. I’m still going to be not ing as much for the time being.
