[Miyuki moved to Japan from California, USA. She only had half of the money she needed to attend UA, due to being pickpocketed at the airport. Miyuki was approached at a local bar by Himiko Toga, who had been planning to meet up with her after overhearing Midoriya chatting with some pals about the new transfer student from abroad. She was given a job with the LOV to spy from the inside of UA, if they paid for her tuition with under the table money for her, plus extra for dormitory needs. She isnt seen in public with the league, due to the chances of being recognized by a hero or police. Only inner circle meetings.]

[She doesn’t live with any of her family during the breaks from school, she just stays with the league of villains. Miyuki’s family back home watches the tournaments on television and streams online, and keep in touch but they dont visit each other.]
