"Iida."

A voice whispered in the darkness of his room and set off many alarms in his head. His first reaction would be to sit up and ask who it was if he didn't already know. But he already knew who it was.

"Iida it's me, Uraraka."

The voice whispered again, sounding closer. The bedside lamp flicked on. In the blink of an eye the room was flooded with a soft light. Iida's hands went up to his eyes, attempting to rub the sleep out of them.

"Uraraka? Shouldn't you be in your bed? It's only," he looked over to a flashing clock, "3 am. And what are you doing here? You could get in trouble."

Uraraka shushed him, putting a finger to his lips. He crossed his eyes to look at the finger in his lips. What he felt he couldn't tell. Maybe it was fear? Excitement? Probably not, but who knows. "Let's go watch the sunrise."

Iida hesitated, debating if spending time with his girlfriend was worth breaking the rules. He had never broken a rule before. They usually watched the sunset, not the sunrise. She was never up in time. At least, that he knew of. He had watched the sunrise several times before, each more beautiful than the last. He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "Fine. Let me change."

"Come out in your pajamas!"

"Uraraka, I do not have pants on."

She blushed and turned around, burying her face into the crook of her elbow.

Moments later the pair bounded up the stairs as quietly as they could. Blankets wrapped tightly around their bodies as they sneaked through the darkness of the dorm building. The door to the roof was suspiciously unlocked and Iida took note of that. He opened the door and Uraraka shuffled outside. Iida followed, breathing out nd shivering. "It's rather cold out here."

"That's why we brought blankets!"

"I see. Let's sit down before it gets lighter. Any spot in particular?"

"Anywhere not near the edge, I'm not the biggest fan of heights."

This confused Iida. She's been in the air enough times that she shouldn't have this fear. He didn't say anything about it, though. Iida sat down with his back against a wall and Uraraka crawled into his lap. Her back faced his chest. He radiated warmth, it felt wonderful to be held in the chilly morning air. Iida wrapped the two blankets around them, trapping the heat. Despite being warm, he still slightly shivered. Or was it shaking?

A number of scenarios ran through his mind. What if someone found them? He wasn't concerned about how people view their relationship so much as them getting in trouble for being somewhere they're not supposed to be. What if a villain found them and decided to attack right then and there?

The door to the roof creaked ominously as the pair waited for the sun to rise. A familiar giggle echoed behind them and both of the soon to be hero's jumped up, readying their quirks. In the blink of an eye Iida was grabbed and pushed off the roof, leaving Uraraka to fend for herself. "Iida!" She screamed repeatedly.

"Iida!" Uraraka said, raising her hand up and poking his cheek. "I can feel your heartbeat. Calm down, we won't get caught." She said matter-of-factly. "I promise. I will take any blame placed onto you."

Iida kissed the top of her brown hair, wrapping his strong arms around her smaller figure. He didn't say anything, just waited for the sun to rise. Still, something nagged at the back of his mind. He couldn't place his finger on it.

"You want to know why I don't like heights even though I have the quirk I do, huh?" Uraraka said nonchalantly.

"How did you kow?"

"I get asked about it a lot."

"If it isn't a bother I would like to hear about it."

"You could never be a bother to me." Uraraka said, wrapping her hands around Iida's much larger ones. The sky slowly turned purple.

"As a kid I always climbed up really really high places. Like trees and monkey bars. One time I didn't realize how high it was and I slipped and fell out of a tree. I fell about 5 meters and I broke my wrist and collarbone and I got a concussion. It hurt really bad so I've just avoided trees and such."

Uraraka sighed heavily.

"I put my parents through so much and my medical bills were so expensive. I don't want anything like that to happen again, it's too much stress. When I become a Pro Hero I'll be able to pay them back!"

Iida pushed his glasses up, the rising sun glinting off of the lenses. "I see. I'm sure they wouldn't want you to pay them back but by all means, go right ahead if that's what you think is right."

The sun lifted the blanket of darkness off of them, shrouding them in warmth. Purple sky turned vibrant shades of pinks and oranges, seemingly on fire. Birds chirped and the nearby woods came alive with the sounds of forest dwellers.

Iida pulled a small box out of his pocket and set it in Uraraka's hand. "Open it."

She did as she was told. Her fingers ran over the smooth box momentarily before opening it and revealing a necklace sitting in a small velvet cushion. The charm on the chain was a gold rocketship with a pink stone in the middle where the window would be. "A rocketship to remind you that you can always soar above anything that troubles you. Also because you can make items float and I have engines on my le-"

Iida didn't get to finish before he was wrapped in a tight hug by a beaming Uraraka. "It's beautiful." She whispered, tears brimming her eyes. "Thank you. I love it. I love you."

Iida's heart swelled. He wrapped his arms around Uraraka, returning her hug. He would this moment forever. The moment they snuck out to watch the sunrise and didn't get in trouble.

Maybe it is okay to break rules sometimes.
