Katsuki was always meant for Camelot from when I first designed her so. Sue me.

The more the sun rose into the sky, the more students stirred in their dorms. Class 1-A was indulging in a good morning, the light pouring through the windows was as bright and warm as ever, everyone was in high spirits. Something about that day just said "vive la vie" to all who awoke into it. Katsuki typically ate breakfast alone. Some days he was ed by a particular female who kept him company. Though lately she had made it a habit to sit with him every morning, whether she ate or not. She never explained why. But something told him she didn't have to.

Among the bustling of his fellow peers, Katsuki sat at his regular table, eating in peace. The cheers from Hagakure and Mina but a few tables away flooded his ears just as the loud yells from the likes of Kaminari and Kirishima. With a sigh, the blonde set his bowl down and adjusted his hearing aids. May as well take them out entirely.

Two full minutes ed and he had begun slowing down with his eating. The food tasted more bland and the seat across from him was intimidatingly empty. He set down his bowl and trained his gaze on the empty space infront of him. Why did he feel so uneasy from the absence of his breakfast company. Before he could think much farther on it, a voice woke him up from his ruminating.

"Where's Castillo-kun, Baku-chan?" Looking up, his red eyes settled on Tsuyu. He cleared his throat and shrugged, fixing his hearing aid setting.

"Not sure.. It's whatever though, I'm conditioned to eating alone. I prefer it." He mumbled. She nodded quietly before scanning their surroundings. "Maybe you should check on her." She shrugged and walked off.

The thought had certainly crossed his mind once or twice. Camelot was typically brooding in the kitchen if she wasn't sitting with Bakugou. But from what he had heard and seen, she was nowhere to be seen. Though you wouldn't hear it straight from the horse's mouth, the two had grown a bit close over the course of the school year. Between having what some would call temperamental issues, being strong, and wanting someone who understood their individual problems, they had developed what neither of them would openly it was a bond.

So in a sense, he felt and knew something was wrong.

Doubting anyone would notice, Bakugou silently excused himself from breakfast and ventured into the depth of the dorms. There was a singular hallway that wasn't exactly inhabited by many students. The second floor's female hall was mostly vacant, besides Camelot who had taken refuge at the very end of the hall. She wasn't, what many would call, a people person.

The scent of sandalwood and apples and cinnamon flooded the second floor hallways, as always coming from her room. At least she was clearly alive if her candles were lit.

Bakugou gently knocked on the door, waiting patiently. Compared to all the other doors, it felt oddly foreboding to stare at hers, as if what waited behind it was his demise. He knew someone was in there, because he heard a soft sigh from within. He opened the door without waiting, he didn't particularly feel as if he needed permission in the first place. From where he stood, he could see the small female laying in her bed, unmoving. She looked like death itself. Stepping into her room felt like entering an entirely new realm. Like a shift from the world of the living to purgatory.

"C'mon. It's almost 9 and you're still in bed. Get the fuck up." His low grumble echoed through the room. It was dark, the lights were solemn turned on. The only source of warmth there was was the ambient red, orange, and white that tinted the walls from the various lit candles which decorated every inch of her room like shadows.

The covers moved ever so slightly to clearly reveal the Hispanic female. It was unnerving seeing her this way. She was disheveled, her eyes felt lifeless, lackluster. Her skin had no glow. While she wasn't exactly what lit up every room on a daily basis, she certainly never looked this worse for wear.

'Everything hurts.'

The signs hurt to analyze just as much. He took note that her hearing aids weren't in, she clearly wasn't having the best day. Bakugou moved towards the bed carefully with an exasperated sigh.

'What's wrong?'

Camelot sat up in bed and ran her fingers through her hair, watching him approach. She missed him. It felt like eternity since she had last seen him, but only because she hadn't been able to sleep all night. She felt as if she didn't know him well enough to simply get out of bed and go to his room at 3 am and ask for company. But even she knew he would've been okay with it. As irritated and tired as he looked infront of her, she knew he would've been okay with it.

'My new medication. I can't sleep. I feel worse.'

He sat down on the edge of her bed with her last sign. Pursing his lips, Bakugou examined the room. He never tried to put himself in her shoes. He couldn't understand her no matter how many times he tried.

How could someone who saw things and heard things live with their room lights off?

How could someone who dealt with constant emotional turmoil live so isolated without seeking other people's comfort?

He only knew so much about her. When these things came up, all he did was sit there quietly. He knew it wasn't the most comforting. But he imagined it was better than leaving her alone like other people did.

'I'm sorry for not coming to breakfast. I'm just not hungry.'

Her heart skipped a beat when his rich red eyes shifted from her hands to her face. Bakugou shook his head, curled his lips into a scowl, and pushed her hands into her lap. He didn't say anything. But he didn't have to. She swallowed thickly and laid back down. Grabbing a hearing aid from off its place on her nightstand, she plugged it in and adjusted it. She wanted to hear his voice. It was the only thing that kept her warm in the cold winter that was her room.

"..I being out on the streets when I was 14. And I had to fight every day with the voices that hated me for everything. For breathing. For not being good enough. And I'm glad I'm better now. But sometimes.. I feel weak." She murmured.

Camelot looked across from where she laid, staring blankly at a canvas planted on her wall. It was simply black blobs dripping down. She hated being seen like this. She hated being weak and vulnerable. Afraid and in pain. Especially in front of him. Neither of them really knew what it was. But they worked to impress each other, each other. Be the best they could possibly be for each other.

Those feelings themselves scared her.

"Katsuki.."

"Yeah?"

A hand weakly moved to loosely grip his wrist. She pulled him from the edge of her bed closer to herself. While his face objected, Bakugou himself moved as close as she beckoned. She sat up and pulled his arm over her, nuzzling her face into his chest. A forced hug of sorts. Comfort for the millions of emotions that ran through her skull.

"I'm sorry."

He bit his lip and contemplated. Truth be told, he wanted his Camelot back. The one who called everyone a dipshit, wasn't afraid to shoot someone point blank, and was pretty much Satan incarnated. That Camelot was determined to fuck everyone up in her path. That Camelot was strong, irable, resilient, a leader. This one?

He couldn't blame her. And he hated himself for thinking it for even a second.

He softly ran his fingers through her hair, squeezing her gently. He even dared to lightly press his lips to her temple.

"It's okay to not be okay, Cam.." He mumbled. "I'm here. I always will be.."
