Hello everyone, it’s Glory, and I hope you are having a wonderful day while social distancing!
In this post I will be discussing my favorite songs and artists this month. They will not necessarily be from March 2020; they are just songs and artists I listened to the most during this month.
After the favorites I’ll tell you about the flops. These will be the songs that came out this month but weren’t really my cup of tea.

~ Songs ~
Wannabe
Itzy
Itzy is back to scream-preaching at us, but it’s actually pretty catchy. It’s less in your face than Dalla Dalla while still being a fun self-love anthem.
Lupin
Dongkiz
I fell in love with this song from the opening notes. It’s funky and unique with a satisfying jazzy chorus and the swagger of old school K-Pop. The vocals are gorgeous and the instrumental is perfection. I was aware of this group already from their comeback earlier this year, but this song solidified them as a rookie group to watch.
Lie
Favorite
Similar to their successful 2019 song Loca, Favorite’s new song follows the Latin trend that made its way through K-Pop in recent years. Favorite is one group that’s stuck with it, and for good reason. Their voices and group vibe fit the concept perfectly. The angelic vocals this smooth and sassy song through compelling verses and addictive chorus.
Jackpot
Elris
The intro of this song took me off guard, but once the chorus hit I was sold. The rap verses also stood out to me. As a whole, the song is cute and sassy mixed with the perfect dose of quirkiness to make a fun and catchy comeback.
A Song Written Easy
Oneus
Yet another new concept from rookie group Oneus. This fresh and melodious song is like a breath of fresh air for your ears. Though the chorus is instrumental, I often found myself with the beautiful whistling tune in my head. As usual, their vocals are lovely, but I was impressed with how the rappers toned it back to fit the gentler vibe of the song.
Honorable Mentions
AKA songs that I like but didn’t listen to as much as the others, or that came out at the end of the month
Do or Die by AleXa
Howling by Victon
2U by Kang Daniel
~Albums~
Into the Ice Age
MCND
MCND has the talent, confidence, and presence of a group far older than them, and their debut album shows off their skills perfectly. Pre-debut track Top Gang and debut song Ice Age shine a spotlight on their rappers and dance abilities, while side tracks Stereotypes and Hey Yoh demonstrate a gentler side of the group while highlighting the vocalists. These rookies will be a force to be reckoned with.

Kick It
NCT 127
I don’t hate this song; I actually really like everything except the chorus. It’s literally just screaming. It interrupts the song in the worst way and is honestly scary sounding. I wish they had come up with a better chorus, because then the song would’ve been pretty good.
