Well, hello there. It's been a while.

Life has been so hectic that it's

been hard to keep up with Amino

in general. My life has been a

rollercoaster these past few

months, but I'm happy to be back.

Today I've brought you a blog that

I've been thinking about writing for

a while. WandaVision and how it's

the perfect introduction to Phase

4 of the Marvel Cinematic

Universe.

Since this show has aired, I've

been hooked and in love. The story

is beyond interesting and has

provoked so many theories that

could or couldn't be correct.

WandaVision has also introduced

MCU viewers to powers that comic

readers were waiting to see.

But without further ado, let's get into

the blog.

WandaVision takes place after Endgame

Now I know what you're all thinking.

I honestly do not know or even think

That Marvel is going to start releasing

things in the order that they should be

watched. Far from it. But my reason

behind this is the fact that Infinity War

and Endgame were the climax of three

whole phases of the Marvel Cinematic

universe. Endgame left with the notion

That we weren't really going to see our

favorite heroes again after the three

hour event.

"But Carol, Black Widow also had a

character from the previous phases."

While you're not wrong, her movie has

been long awaited for. We can wait just

a little bit longer.

Black Widow was a movie that was and

still is highly anticipated, but we already

know a lot about Natasha Romanoff and

her past. Since Black Widow takes place

After Civil War, the timing feels very off

and almost would have taken away from

emotional aftermath that was caused by

Endgame. Whereas WandaVision makes

the emotional aftermath it's primary theme.

Taking place just after Endgame, this

Marvel themed sitcom shows a life that

almost seemingly seems that it's taking

place in Wanda's mind. And while it's

not wrong, it's not the "it's all a dream"

we fans were expecting.

WandaVision taps into reality shifting

powers that have previously only been

shown with the reality stone. The

powers that we see at work in Marvel's

newest creation have been built upon

in their comics, but not their own

cinematic universe. Making everything

besides nothing more than a few

characters new information for most

viewers.

Before now, Wanda hasn't been touched

as a character for the MCU, and this

show is building more and more on to

her character. WandaVision is giving

us, the viewers, a way to see how she is

truly processing her grief. After Thanos

was defeated in Endgame, more than

likely Wanda was devastated to find out

that Vision was unable to come back.

Far From Home was our first movie after

Endgame, dealing with the aftermath of

the snap and Tony's death. WandaVision

tackles the snap and then some. When

COVID hit, the world was rocked and

Everything was put on pause.

WandaVision was pushed off like the

rest of the Marvel movies and shows.

But they decided to push forward and

release it.

WandaVision is truly an aftermath showing

of what has happened since the snap, both

of them. Making this show the smartest

choice to go with when it came to starting

Phase 4.

Wanda's powers are coming into full effect

Now let's talk about the main character,

protagonist and antagonist.

Wanda Maximoff.

In the MCU Wanda's powers were not

portrayed much past her ability to mess

with people's minds and being able to

move things. WandaVision not only

introduces her extreme powers, it showcases

them. Her ability to create a reality is

something that was known in the comics

but not shown in the movies.

WandaVision is delving into a character

that was barely touched on in the MCU,

Which was a smart decision on Marvel's

part. Wanda is such a complex character

having a show dedicated to showing her

powers and showing how she's dealing

with grief. These 9 episodes gives us an

idea of what's going on inside Wanda's

mind, which makes her character even

more powerful.

Wanda's story is just beginning

Wanda was introduced in Age of

Ultron, showing the effect of the

mindstone on people and what powers

it gives them. Wanda has shown up

in later movies such as Civil War,

Infinity War, and Endgame. But her story

has finally been developed on in this

show.

We see her talk about Pietro, her dead

brother, we see how she's fighting to keep

the life that she has with Vision. We see

her wanting to be normal. WandaVision is

developing Wanda's story, and starting it

beyond what was developed with the

Avengers. WandaVision is starting a story

that will hopefully be pushed forward in

coming phases and movies.
