With War of The Roirrim out and underway I was curious as to how many people have on this Amino have plans to see it on theaters or perhaps even not see it at all!
I know many people have their reservations about the film, but I have honestly seen just as many who are excited for this new (albeit altered) chapter… Please feel free to share your opinion down below!

A bit late to the party, but I've seen it in the cinemas and honestly I really enjoyed it! The animation was done wonderfully and the story itself was executed well imo. Ofc there's a few nitpicks but none came in the way of my enjoyment. My friend (who didn't share much interest in Tolkien's work before at all) came with me and she also found a lot of enjoyment and is now wanting to watch the other movies with me too. I consider that a big victory in my books..

I’ve heard some pretty good things about the animation, and some not good things (tho ittedly the not good things were from someone who is not into Anime so there was probably some bias there lol).
Personally I agree that visually it does look amazing! I am perhaps not the biggest fan of some of the aesthetic cues they chose to make, but overall the animation looks immaculate!
Need a 4th option. Seen it. Loved it. Wana see it again.

I did originally have a 4th option but it seemed redundant so I took it down (before anyone used it so it didn’t alter the poll).
I see it today. Albeit I have my personal statements, I have a slight, little hope that it's not that bad as I think... I hope...

Not particularly excited but any excuse to go to the cinema is fine with me :satisfied: if it isn't that good the animation/spectacle will probably make up for a lot of it anyway
Going to the cinema is the EXPERIENCE for any movie imo! It definitely helps me get into the movie /mood more lol

It's fun to go with other people but I have just as good an experience with the TV or a good pair of headphones and my laptop.
