Hello!!

ive pretty much posted this piece everywhere at this point, but since this is an lgbt amino i thought why not post it here as well

so this is a REALLY big work in progress painting ive been working on on-off for almost two years now

i started painting this when i was going through my last 6months as a closeted trans guy in 2023, i was going through a really rough time during that period because i was genuinely feeling like the walls were closing in and the clock was ticking its last seconds. on the last day of May in 2024 i officially came out to my parents and close family, so this painting has kind of evolved with me for the past couple years now, and i think i like that!

i started this painting at first to basically pour my heart and feelings into, since i wasnt able to talk to my family or anyone about what i had been going through in my head for the past decade. but ever since i started this, this has turned into something so much more than just that. now this isnt just another glimpse into my head like every other one of my art pieces, this is genuinely a painting that symbolizes my whole transitioning process, my whole adventure to becoming *me*, the person i really am, and i love that

its still unfinished, a work in progress, because *im* a work in progress. i still have many steps left on my transition, but i will be taking this painting through it with me up until i finally finish it as myself.

im willing to ask any questions you might have in the comments, there's a lot of hidden meanings in here as well so ill leave those up for your own interpretations ;)
