It hurts to know you don't love me

And to know you never will

It hurts worse to be left in the dark

Why did you say we can't be more than friends?

Is it cause you don't like girls?

Or is it just cause you don't like me?

Why does our feelings have to be so different?

You say you love me

I say I love you more

And we both know that I'm right

Cause you will never love me the same

And I wish that this was just an insecurity of mine

That it was all only in my head again

But you said it out loud

What I was always afraid of

I will never be more than a friend
