To the moon and back

They say love has no limits

They say roses taste like kisses

Trying to think of my past makes me grimace

My life slows minute by minute

Let's just see how much I miss it

Whenever I'd see you I'd start to crack

My head spinning, mind going black

But I never let myself fallback

Because it showed how much I lack

Seeing you cry was like a smack

Made me want to hurt the bully outback

My bruises won't need a ice pack

All I need is payback

And for you to watch my backpack

I'm running like a racetrack

Wind following on the dirt track

Trying not to be a sad sack

Somehow getting a six-pack

My memories coming like throwbacks

Making me want to backtrack

But my memories are my wolf pack

I'm having drawbacks

I look into the night sky, it's pitch black

Ocean water with humpbacks

Smelling of flower, a lilac

Covered with lies and plaque

Sand covered with leatherback

Sad I have panic attacks

Having no one to rub my back

I'm trying to counterattack

The world rich like a Cadillac

The stars shine like my zodiac

I'm about to have a heart attack

You make my world go maniac

Having no end, cul de sac

I meant it when I said let's fly to the moon and back

Watching you lifts my spirits

Brings together all the missing pieces

Witnessing the skyline over bridges

Having you by me makes me glisten

It's better than any riches
