about a new movie that recently came

out on Netflix. It’s an interesting movie

and one of the main if not thee main

relationship is LGBT I’m going to talk

With everything that’s been happening

I’ve had a lot of free time! And because

of that me and my friend decided to

watch this new movie a try and see it.

Okay, now this movie is about a

girl named Ellie who is known for

writing everyone’s papers as school

when she’s just trying to get by day

to day a kid comes up to her named

Paul who wants her to write a love

letter to a girl named Aster. She at

first decides that it’s too personal

and that she doesn’t want to, but

he’s persistent and she gives in.

There’s three main relationships in

this movie. One between Paul and

Aster. They start dating after Ellie

begins writings Aster poems and

letters. They’re awkwardly cute but

they don’t have much in common

and the two of them end up breaking

it off at the end of the movie.

▕▔▔▔▔▔▔▿▔▔▔▔▔▔▏

These two strike up an unlikely

friendship after Ellie starts writing

letters for Paul. They slowly start

to bond over making Aster fall for

Paul. They become really close

friends to the point where Paul

starts to have romantic feelings

for Ellie. She quickly shuts him

down and freaks when Aster

catches them. That’s when Paul

really puts together that Ellie is

in love with Aster. The two have

a bit of a falling out when he acts

like a dick about her being in love

with a girl but he comes to realize

he was wrong and they make up.

Now onto our last relationship!

After Ellie started to write Aster

love letters she really started to

fall for her and Aster in return

started to fall for Ellie or who she

thought was Paul. The two girls

personalities were quiet similar

with them both relating to poems

and in general the love letters

meanings and craft.

The two of them had one real

bonding scene where they

talked about their fears and

uncertainties about their future

and what they were going to do.

At the church service when Aster’s

jock boyfriend who she doesn’t love

proposes to her Ellie makes it known

that she was the one who wrote Aster

all the love letters and texts. Aster is

understandably upset over being

mislead this whole time.

In the end Ellie goes off to college

which she was debating about

because she didn’t want to leave

her dad all alone. She and Aster share

a kiss and they talk about them

possibly figuring everything out

themselves and their sexualities.

It’s left up to believe if Aster marries

Trig her jock boyfriend. Think he’s a

jock. He fits the stereotype of one.

I think they lead us to believe she

doesn’t and that she’s going to

find herself so I believe the ending

is quite open.
