Intro
Hey guys I am going to be doing my pride poem for todays post.I have always wanted to do a poem for pride but realy never got the opportunity to do so. So, I thought maybe I should do one now while I have the chance.
I would also Like to take the time to talk about my gay history around the world posts that i am doing. My poll has officially been closed and the country that won for this week was Japan so expect that very soon. Here's the poem!

I didn't realise who I was until I stopped trying to be who I wasn't
I didn't realise that being gay was somthing to be embarrassed about
I didn't realise that because we are not the same as you or have the same heart as you we have to be punished because we are a "sin"
Being pushed away into a dark room as if we were the droplets of unheard crys from the people that were shut away
Collapsing onto the cold surface, wondering if we'll ever be okay
But why...
This has to stop
I will not let my feelings get pushed aside no more
I will not let the dark thoughts overwhelm me anymore
Because I am me
I am beautiful
I am strong
