What is this Mythical Creature's name?

Marmoris Sea Seron

Seron = Serpent + Dragon

What is this Mythical Creature?

The Marmoris Sea Seron is a mythical underwater creature, which is a combination of a Serpent and a Dragon. They were once able to fly, but descended into the ocean. Their Dragon wings became fins for swimming and their slithering Serpent bodies gave them grace in the water. Adult Serons lay their eggs at around age 50 and can live for 100 years or more.

Where do they live?

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄

They live in the Wistium Ocean, which is located in the fantasy realm of the Kingdom of Wistalore {an original setting created by me.. check out this post for a short story}. They entertain themselves and have fun by swimming all day. Serons sleep on the ocean floor curled up tight and use their invisibility power for protection. They create nests for their eggs using rocks and curl around them to keep them away from harm.

What does this Mythical Creature eat?

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄

Seron's are herbivores so their diet consists of Mushroom Coral, Purple Horn Coral and Windlum Kelp. All of these plants are native to the Wistium Ocean. These plants are located in Coral reefs, at the edge of sand banks, and on seamounts (like an underwater cliff).

Are they friendly?

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄

While they look intimidating, they're extremely friendly to all creatures. They will help any creature in need, for example if they are lost or hurt. They aren't violent unless attacked and will defend their young with full force.

Can they be a pet?

⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄⠄⠂⠁⠁⠂⠄

Even though they enjoy the company of other creatures, they cannot be domesticated or kept as a pet. Their adult size is too large for any enclosure, and they need lots of open space for swimming.

What does this Mythical Creature look like?

The Marmoris Sea Seron is extremely large, longer than two football fields and as wide as a house. They have either light or dark blue scales that shimmer like the moon shining on the ocean's surface. They have two large front fins for swimming, neck frills, and flowing tendrils from their heads like antennas.

What abilities do they have?

The most useful magical ability the Marmoris Sea Seron has is fast healing and can heal other creatures using their antennas. They are also able to turn invisible while they sleep to hide from predators, and they have super speed.
