I hate how people say "it's just trendy". No, the reason why it seems like more people are lgbt+ is because a lot of people are more safe and there's not as much hate as there used to be 20 years ago. We aren't just being trendy, or choosing. We are who we are and it's amazing that more people now days feel more comfortable with coming out than they did a long time ago. That shows progress.
