watch as you dance with her

knowing how you once were

i just want you to be happier

i'll stir up clouds when you go to her

so that your lips can meet in the rain

so that i can pretend that my tears

are just the tears from a storm in may

i wish i had been thinking straight

before i stumbled and fell for you

but i have tossed all rules far away

except for one, "he won't love me, too"
