mild trigger warning for mentioning death

i disappear like a ghost with no goal

they broke my heart like it's not made of gold

they said one day it'll kill me off

not knowing i was dead all along

they say i'll be running from wolves

chasing ghosts, taking notes

using force on the pain in my soul

that's how i'd wanna go, though

people wanna know what i'm really on

always see me as an alien

i'm in the clouds, i'm an avian

whatever you picture, i'm way beyond

but when i dry out, they say "oh no"

like they don't know how this will go

like they don't push me back into it

and watch as my life throws a fit

so disappear like a ghost with no goal

run with the dark like it's my own shadow

knowing that one day it'll kill me off

but at least t's how i want to go

...
