Magic Spell

There’s a shift in the wind,

A rotation of reflection.

My eyes see new colors,

dazed by what I thought I knew.

The way your eyes glow in the sun,

like staring into an oceans distance,

It mesmerizes my mind.

Put me under your spell;

Pull me out of this darkness.

I’ve gone blind by what I thought was true.

Teaching me it was lies;

Showing me what truth really is.

Through chaos in both our lives;

Different pasts and living in

completely different worlds,

thinking you were always just a face

in a crowd I’d never see again,

Glances down hollow hallways,

It was a moment of fate.

I was put under your spell

And the power consumes me.
