I kinda wanna get these

Since I've been looking for awhile for shoes I can wear, when walking around the pool deck at work. But I'd probably be a bit shy about wearing them. No one at work knows I'm trans, and I've pretty much planned on keeping it that way. Even though I'm sure I'd be accepted if I did come out, cuz there's one trans guy there and he's accepted.

However I feel like most people only think of ftm and mtf when they see the trans flag, even though nonbinary people are also included. I feel like people would probably think I'm mtf, since I'm already read as male. So then I'd have to go through the process of explaining that I'm nonbinary(or more specifically agender). Which I hate doing, cuz people tend to ask really personal and inappropriate questions when I tell them I'm neither a boy nor a girl. Although I don't think anyone I work with would ask me what's between my legs, how I go to the bathroom, or anything else that you wouldn't ask a cis person.

Also there is a potential plus to getting the shoes, and that is that I might get asked what my pronouns are. I use they/them pronouns, but I get called he/him at work cuz nobody knows what my pronouns are. And despite the fact that being called he/him makes me dysphoric, I don't tell people irl my pronouns unless they ask me, cuz my social anxiety doesn't allow for it. Also another plus to getting them is they'd match my shorts that I got from gc2b.

Anyways, knowing myself I'll probably end up getting the shoes, and I'll just say I'm an ally if anyone asks if I'm trans. If they ask what my pronouns are though, I'll tell them. After all, using different pronouns doesn't automatically make you trans.
