:sparkles: How to edit widgets :sparkles:

haiya everyone! it’s your local friendly peach here today with a post about editing widgets!

as many people know you can know do fancy aesthetic on your phones with widgets and changing your app icon due to the new iphone update.

however, some of you might not know how to do it. so i’m making this post as an example post for those who want too!

(this might not be the correct way but it worked for me!)

Mine took me roughly 2-3 hours but this is because i generally suck at aesthetics and couldn’t decide a theme. then i couldn’t find any photos i liked. However, the outcome i’ve got i do like. It’s pretty random but it’s something that’s growing on me slowlyyyy uwu

I originally wanted to go for a peach theme, however along the way i must’ve got side tracked and started doing a pink anime theme as well somehow lmfao.

Anyway! i’ll show you guys how i edited the widgets. I hope you all enjoy the post :yum:

How to make a widget:

•Choose a theme and a background (i got everything from pinterest).

•Once you have that start making a few widgets!

if you don’t have it you’ll need to the app widgetsmith btw.

•Now that you have the app, find a photo you want and place that image on its own in an album. in that album it must be separate, no other images can be there.

(idk why but it didn’t work when there was others)

•Once you have done that, go back to the widgetsmith app! When you are there choose the size you want. it’ll say small widget, medium widget or large widget.

Choose the size you want.

•Click the widget you want, and then once it brings up a bigger version.

it’ll say (default widget) on the top

•Click that, it’ll then bring you to another page and you can choose the style/photo you want on it.

•It’ll bring you to this page and once you’re on it you then scroll all the way down to where it says photo in an album.

•Scroll down further and choose the album which the image you want is in.

•Once you’ve done that click the screen and it’ll show you the image on the widget.

•When you have done that click save!

•However it won’t show up on your home screen; You will need to come off the app and click edit home screen.

•After you have done that, in the top right corner click the ( + ) button.

•Once you are on there scroll all the way down to widgetsmith.

•When you get to widgetsmith click it!

•Then click the size of the widget you edited and press add widget.

•When you have added the widget, press the widget again and find which one it is, 1/2/3/4.

•Then when you done that click save or click off it and it should come up with the widget you want! Move it around wherever you want.

Then repeat this for other widgets that you want! and that’s how you make your own widget, if you have any questions feel free to ask.
