Field of Memories-poem/written piece

When I first laid eyes on you, I knew

I knew that you would be my savior

You fill my life with purpose and put my heart at ease

You give me reasons to live, you are my aglow in a dark room

I when we were in that field

There was all this beautiful grass and the clouds were puffy

But all I could see was you

You were glowing, you were happy, the sun on us making the world so bright

I recall laying in the field, with my arms not empty

We stayed like that for a while, it was so beautiful, you were so perfect.

It was home.
