Hello everyone!
Today’s gonna
be a short post because I don’t
think I’ll need to go too in depth
to get my point across for this one!
What’s the issue that’s going on?
Biphobia
And this time it’s within it’s own
community. This happens for the
most on the app called TikTok
where it’s almost considered a
bad thing if you like men. Which
has basically turned bisexuality
into men🤢 women :revolving_hearts: because
it’s now bad to like men. The joke
about men being bad isn’t what
I’m here to talk about. I’m here
because I want people to stop
shaming bisexual people who have
preferences for men. It’s so odd
how it’s own community kinda
turned being bi into only liking women?
If you have a preference for women?
Valid! If you have a preference for men?
Valid! If you don’t have preferences?
Also very valid! Also, non-binary people
always seem to be forgotten in these
debates over women/men preferences.
Non-binary bisexuals are also so valid!
In conclusion I just want bisexual spaces
to be less toxic. Because this has started
to spread into other parts of the lgbt
community as well. I’ve seen it with
homophobia and transphobia. Please don’t
shame someone just because they like men/
have a preference for men!

A similar thing has happened where I’ve seen a lot of bi and lesbian woman hating on gay men for liking men
Because of the men suck joke
Like I fully agree men suck but when you start hating on people who like men for liking men it starts to become annoying
I’ve also seen a lot in posts of trans men too
They’re all like “why would you want to become a man 🤢 men suck”
I’ve seen it happening way too much we definitely need to stop
The joke itself is okay but when you start attacking people for liking men/being a trans man it separates the community
And the community is supposed to be for coming together and ing each other
I’m a bi trans guy and I have a preference for men so I feel :sparkles: double the insecurity :sparkles: yay
The amount of “I wish I wasn’t attracted to men” I see just makes me feel insecure about myself and that no one will love me, hgddhhdgs lol.
Reply to: Elijahahah
Yeah don’t worry I also feel kinda insecure sometimes about it too
As a gay guy seeing it just makes me feel like I’m wrong for liking men
So sad to see people being toxic towards other of the LGBT+ community
