I'm at it again with my second and most likely final entry for this months challenge; this time, I'm going to participate with a piece for #artpride.

I want todays post without much talking, so lets just skip a long intro and get right into it. Enjoy!

Coming up with an animal inspired by the bisexual prideflag was more difficult then I thought it would be.

I immediately new it had to be a majestic but also personal and likable animal. Hence the lion appearance and glasses. I also wanted to make it more diverse, because thats what this community represents, so I added a fish-like tail and not so typical wings.

As for the colours: I aimed for a design that would bring across the look of the flag but also incooperating my own touch. I decided to use violet, being the smallest stripe in the flag, as the markings, while pink and blue would be the main coat.

I had a great time working on this. Its the first pride character I drew for something I personally identify with and I spent heaps of time working on this.

I'm not entirely happy with the design and may revisit it one day to simplify it a bit.
