So in celebration of Star Wars day, I decided to make a custom clone trooper, specifically of the 21st nova corps, or "galactic marines"

So as we can see, despite their unique look, they still have some pieces of standard clone armour, at least the greaves, knee pads, elbow pads, and utility belt. They also have what looks to be a dark red kama (waist protection cloth) or more likely the lower end of a large protective coat. Under that again, it seems they either have a third layer above the black body-glove, or simply a light grey body glove. Moving to the head region, we can see the helmet is quite clearly a predecessor of the snow trooper helmet, with some minor differences, like the red part, and the more ed visor. They also seem to have shoulderpads sticking out to either side.

Now, picture analysis out of the way, let's see the result, shall we? (Who am I kidding you've already seen the thumbnail haven't you)

So let's adress it piece by piece:

Old snowtrooper helmet (with plain black head underneath): I first tried the newer one, but couldn't get the backpack to look any good, and ultimately I decided to go with the older one, as the face also more closely resembles the ed visor of the marine, instead of the 2 eyeholes of the snowtrooper

ARC trooper shoulderpads: the smallest cloth shoulderpads in a somewhat appropriate colour I had lying around

Guavian death gang torso: I chose this primarily for the prominent utility belt (although in the wrong colour), as well as having the trenchcoat look of the marine

Scarlet witch dress piece: I was lucky enough to have this to complete the trenchcoat look, though it's not completely accurate, since it's forked at the back, and a bit long too

Hoth rebel trooper legs (with white hips switched out for light grey): this is the best I could do to replicate the grey with white armour. The white should be below the knees, not above, but hey, one can't be perfect

~('o')~

Anyway, with that ridiculously thorough breakdown finished, I'm more or less done.

Oh wait that's right I also made a mortar, based on the one used in the Clone Wars episode "Krell's carnage"
