Lego dreamzzz Castle nocturnia review

Hey guys it's me the brick boss here and today will be taking a look at is Castle nocturnia this is the biggest dream set that's released this is also a set from last year it took me a bit of time to get this in so I'm looking forward to taking a look at it. There are a lot of great things and techniques in this set so without further ado let's get started the set we're going to be taking a look at is Castle nocturnia

this set has 11 minifigures dizzy dreamling bathizzie madteo Mrs Castillo Mateo sneak and never which. The first build I want to talk about is Phil he is the guardian of the castle he is a manticore which is cool this is the first set he's ever come in and he is definitely a amazing character he first appears in season one of the TV show and it's nice to finally have them in a set his wings are made up of the nexo knights shields in different colors on top of a disc that is translucent yellow. He is posable with the ratchet ts he's connected to which is nice as well. Now let's move on to the castle the build of this is a castle where you're able to flip it onto different sides there's like a staircase if you have it sideways you're still able to kind of pose minifigures sideways or upside down which is quite nice it really gives a dreamscape vibe to it I definitely do like that. I do love the teal grass area with the giant tree with different dreams in it I believe this should come with every version of the memory bottles across all of the sets from last year which is very nice unfortunately this set does not come with multiple birds to carry them that I did find it was quite disappointing despite this being the biggest set it does not come with enough to carry every different of different memories and such. Next I want to talk about The hourglass tower I do like it a lot and it's probably going to be the version I'm going to keep because this set is a 2 in 1 that does take The hourglass tower that gets transformed into a tower that houses the tree. I do like the basic model better than the secondary one. Unfortunately there's not really a lot to the interior. The main floor has a carpet area and nothing else in it which is quite unfortunate. The second floor does have a bathroom area with just a toilet and sink nothing else again I feel like they could have put in a bit more effort into it. And the third floor has a bookcase and a small plant and that's it for the third floor I feel like for a set like this they could have done a lot better job on the interior especially for the price which does disappoints me. Now I want to move on to the red tower area which does have the shields in the light red and dark red color scheme. Honestly it's great especially that there is a place where the night can stand on top of the tower and look out for any enemies this is basically the only real spot you can look out from where he does actually have cover. I do like the accuracy of that for a castle like this. Next I do want to talk a little bit about the interior courtyard which does have a sticker piece for a fish swimming up a waterfall and just some places for people to stand other than that there's not really a whole lot going on. But that's all I have for this set so let's move on to the price per piece this set has 1714 pieces and retails for $259 Canadian. Now let's move on to my final thoughts on this set.

Honestly this set definitely isn't worth it there is basically from what I can see is one exclusive minifigure which is Mrs Castillo but that's about it I'm honestly quite disappointed in general on how little you get for the price you pay for this. Again this does go with the other way from last year but at the time you could only get it from the Lego store so I wasn't looking into going all the way down there to pick it up so I ended up waiting off on it and despite waiting off on it I feel that it's still doesn't live up to my expectations on what I wanted it to be. The TV show definitely makes this castle look cool but at the end of the day it did not live up to my expectations.
