Sebastian- Snek Boy
Adom- Royal Pain Himself

It was a hot summers day, and Adom as usual was making sure his loyal companion Sebastian, or as he had more recently nicknamed him, Thueban(meaning snake), didn't get burned by how bright the sun was. He could not believe how many years had ed since they fateful day they met. Although, he was unsure of what to do as of late. Ras, his best friend, had caught Sebastian cuddling up to Adom as he napped, and Adom had grown increasingly protective of the male. To be fair, he was protective of all his loved ones, but this time it felt.. different. He was much softer on Sebastian than he was on the other , and he knew that should his relationship continue with Sebastian, he would need to leave his homeland. The laws were strict in Egypt, and if it were to be discovered that he or Sebastian had feelings for one another, it could cost Sebastian his life.
He avoided ever mentioning something about it, but behind closed doors he held Sebastian tightly and anytime someone seemed to try and threaten him, Adom would use his powers and rid the person from their presence. It tortured Adom inside day to day, having to hide his affections that were growing for the other male. He was not one to show any emotions, but it was hard not to show something when Sebastian was near. He did his best, but even he slipped at times and showed a sign of affection. Still, he knew that at some point, he'd have to make a decision, and that decision would decide how his life would turn out. Either he was to leave his homeland forever, or lose Sebastian. He prayed to his father for guidance, but Anubis had gone silent.
One day, he decided enough was enough, and he sat Sebastian down in his home, away from any prying eyes. He was not one in any way to get emotional or show concern, least he be killed, but this was different. He looked into Sebastian's eyes and spoke softly, so that only he could hear. "Thueban.. Sebastian. I.. must it something to you. I.. have grown to have an affection for you, and.. I have noticed you seem to return my feelings based on your actions. But Sebastian, you must know we cannot allow something horrible to happen. I am the son of the great god Anubis, and although I am happy in my homeland, the laws are not kind to our kind of people. Quite.. cruel. I am tortured to have to make such a brutal decision, but it must be done. If we remain here, we can not be together, for if we are, we risk your life if the Hisbah religious police catch us. But if we are to be together, we must leave Egypt for a safer home.
So I must ask you a very important question. Do you return my affections? Because if yes, I will willingly leave my homeland to be with you, as I would not choose to live without you."
Sebastian's jaw dropped slightly as Adom spoke. It was a excruciatingly long moment of utter silence before he spoke again. "Adom.. I.." He cleared his throat. "D-Da.. I do return your affection. I understand your plight. In Russia until recently, if I was to be caught in a relationship with a man, I would be in danger. But although I understand, it.. saddens me that I would force you to leave your homeland. What about Ras and the others?"
"Ras knows how deeply I care for you. He is prepared to follow me. We need new turf anyhow. I am.. more than pleased to hear you say so, Sebastian. I am sure this is not the sort of.. confession, you would expect, is it?" Sebastian shook his head and sighed. "It pains me to be the cause of this, Adom." He sighed as he looked down. Adom frowned and grabbed his chin, lifting his eyes to meet his gaze. "Sebastian. I would do whatever I can to be by your side. If that means I must go, then the Gods will guide us to a safe home where we can be free. Do not fret. My father Anubis has given us his blessing."
"Isn't he against it, being one of the Gods of Egypt?" Sebastian asked curiously. Adom chucked and replied, "You would think, yes? No, the great God Seth and great one Isis had same-sex lovers in the Ancient times. He has heard my prayers and allowed you to grow affection for me." He leaned ever so gently into Sebastian, but pulled away and instead took his hand. "I will do my best to allow us to work, my dearest one. If I must leave, I will do so with you at my side. I cannot grow old with you, but I will love you for eternity." His eyes grew serious and dark as he spoke, showing how much truth was in each word.
It was up to the two men to see where fate would take them~
