Yata Misaki of Scepter 4 (Chapter 6)-[IMG=Z4L]
Suoh looked up as the door to the bar opened, and the Blue King stepped inside

Suoh looked up as the door to the bar opened, and the Blue King stepped inside. The man paused in the doorway, eyes sweeping over the near-empty bar before settling on its sole occupant. He let the door shut behind him, then strode over and took a seat on a stool next to the Red King. Suoh took a cigarette from the pack in his pocket, then wordlessly offered one to the other King, who took one with a non-committal hum. Suoh placed the cigarette between his lips, sparking his Aura across his fingers to light it. The Blue King merely held his own cigarette out, and the Red King repeated the action, watching as his azure counterpart placed the lit cigarette between his own lips.

“Alright, Reisi. Spit it out. Why did you want to talk?” Suoh asked lazily.

Reisi Just hummed at that. “I assume your clan is elsewhere?”

“They’re upstairs watching a movie.” he grunted. “So?”

The Blue King heaved a sigh. “I would like to talk to you about Yata-kun.”

Suoh arched an eyebrow, giving an amused smirk. “Ah, you mean the little spitfire. What’d he do now that was bad enough to warrant you talking to me?”

Reisi frowned. “Nothing. I merely wanted to ask, I suppose. What happened when you met him?”

Suoh chuckled. “Which time? When I broke out of your little cell or when I saw him in the city? Or maybe the fight the other day?”

“Just the first two, please. Yata-kun already told me about what happened with his Aura during his confrontation with you.”

The Red King hummed. “When I broke out of the cell the kid was there. He was on the ground, think I may have startled him and knocked him down. I thought I’d mess him him and sent a little bit of my Aura towards him. Not enough to do any damage, and I didn’t let it touch him, so wipe that worried look off your face.” he yawned. “Kid didn’t flinch away from the Red like I expected him to. That’s how he caught that my interest. Then I got more interested when I met him in the city.”

Reisi arched an eyebrow, humming and taking a drag from the cigarette. “Oh? The Red didn’t burn him? Granted it didn’t touch him I suppose but he should have felt enough heat for it to be uncomfortable at least.” he remarked.

Suoh chuckled. “Thought so to. When I met him in the city I called him a pipsqueak and he yelled at me and told me he could take me in a fight any day.” he smirked when the Blue King gave a quiet groan at that.

“I’m beginning to think I need to start teaching Yata-kun to stop yelling at Kings and not confront them.” he sighed heavily.

Suoh chuckled. “Why? Personally I think it’s a good thing one of you Blues is such a hothead.” he remarked. “Anyway, I activated my Aura right in his space and the kid still didn’t flinch back. Then Anna asked him about the Red being warm and he said it was.”

Reisi blinked. “The Red Aura doesn’t burn him?”

Suoh shrugged. “I don’t think so.” he said honestly. “Most of your Blues will flinch away from the Red if their Aura isn’t activated. The little spitfire doesn’t. To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised if he found the Blue to be cold.”

Reisi frowned. “I believe he might.” he sighed, then took another puff from the cigarette and blew out the smoke. “To be honest with you, Suoh...I think Yata-kun struggles at Scepter 4. If it weren’t for Fushimi-kun, he might have even left by now.”

Suoh grunted. “Fushimi...that’s his friend, right? In the city he mentioned ing you Blues with his best friend.” he yawned, then took a drag of the cigarette. “Which one of your boys is he?”

Reisi hummed. “The one with the glasses, he was standing next to Yata-kun the other day. The one who covered his mouth when Yata-kun was going to yell at you.” he mused.

Suoh snorted in amusement. “Ah.” he grunted.

Reisi started at the smoke from the cigarettes for a moment, then heaved a sigh. “Be honest with me, Suoh. What do you think of him?”

The Red King blinked. “I think the kid is interesting. He’s a spitfire with a temper hot enough to match mine, from what I’ve seen of it. If I’m being honest with you I don’t think he’s suited for the Blue, not if it keeps hurting him. And from what I’ve seen of his personality and temperament, I don’t think he’s suited for Scepter 4 either.” he said after a moment.

Reisi sighed heavily. “Yes, I’m beginning to think the same. After learning of his scar, and hearing how he reacted with the Red...I believe the Blue Aura isn’t truly meant for him. I won’t force him to leave, of course. Yata-kun is a valuable clansman. He’s good in a fight and quick on his feet, and the boy has a loyal streak a mile wide. Earn his trust and loyalty and he will serve you even beyond his limits.” he remarked. “Though, if he chooses to leave, I won’t stop him.”

Suoh hummed. “Do you think he will?”

The Blue King paused. “No, I don’t think he will. At least, not without Fushimi-kun’s approval and encouragement. He is loyal to his friend, extremely so. He didn’t he tell him about the scar because he didn’t want his friend to worry and think him weak.” he remarked. “He didn’t want anyone to worry and think him weak. He kept is a secret for all this time.”

Suoh hummed. “Do you want him to leave?”

Reisi shook his head. “Of course I don’t. But I do want what’s best for him. And if he decides that what’s best for him is to leave, then I will him in full.”

“You care for your boys quite a bit, don’t you Reisi?”

“Just as much as you care for yours, Suoh.”

The Red King sighed. “Say the kid does leave. Where do you think he’ll go?” he asked lazily, taking a drag from the cigarette.

“I don’t really know.” The Blue King itted. “But I do know he is interested in you and your clan.”

“You think he’d come HOMRA?” Suoh asked, blinking slowly.

“I think he might, if he were to leave Scepter 4. But even I don’t know for sure. Yata-kun is often a mystery. Just as he is loyal, he is also incredibly selfless and perhaps even a little insecure. He has not truly found his place at Scepter 4, but Fushimi-kun has, and I suspect he stays for his friend even if he does not find himself fitting in.” Reisi said slowly.

Suoh watched the Blue King for a moment, then snorted. “Ah. I understand now. You’re worried about what would happen to him, what he’d do, if he decides to leave.”

Reisi sighed. “I am.” he itted. “And as such, I have a favor to ask you, Suoh.”

“Oh? I’m listening.”

“If Yata-kun does leave, and if he does by chance end up ing HOMRA....take care of him for me, will you? As I’ve said, he’ll keep things bottled up for a while, even if it’s not good for him. I worry for the boy.”

Suoh have a slight smile. “Don’t worry, Reisi. If the kid does leave the Blues and end up ing us, then I’ll take good care of him. I care for my boys.”

Reisi smiled. “That you do, Suoh. They wouldn’t follow you if you didn’t do a good job of being a King, after all.”

The Red King snorted. “I could say the same about you. You care about yours. You said it yourself.”

The Blue King chuckled. “Of course I do. I am their King. I watch out for all my clansmen. I always have and I always will.”

Suoh smirked, blew out some smoke from the cigarette. “Don’t worry, Reisi. If your little spitfire finds his way into HOMRA, I’ll take care of him. I’ll make sure he doesn’t end up keeping unhealthy secrets.”

Reisi smiled, then stood and put out the rest of his cigarette in the ashtray. “Thank you, Suoh. I really must be going now, though.” he remarked, then walked out the door, waving at the Red King, and chuckling as the man just grunted in reply, putting out the cigarette before getting up from his own stool and heading upstairs, no doubt to his clansmen.

Yes, Reisi was sure now. If Yata-kun did end up leaving Scepter 4 and ing the Red Clan, he knew boy would be in good hands. Suoh may be temperamental, reckless, and brash, but so was Yata-kun, and the Blue King knew that Suoh cared for all his boys. If Yata-kun found his way here, he would not be an exception to that.
