The Future of Alastor [Discussion/Spoilers :bangbang: ]

Intro

Despite my whole profile being dedicated to being a "Stolas Defender" and posting art of my Stolas kin sona; I do have a great fondness/interest in the Radio Demon; And today I found myself wondering what Hazbin has in-store for him.

My thoughts on the matter is that, realistically, Alastor is probably going to fuck over Charlie; if not the entire hotel. Especially with the little deal they made at the end of the season. If I'm correct; I will emotionally be NOT OKAY :skull: not because I can't handle Alastor being evil but seeing Charlie in distress physically makes me ill/hj

The reason I've made this a "question" post Is;

Can Alastor Be Changed?

When I say "changed" I mean him being like, genuinely interested in redeeming sinners and being a trust worthy ally for the hotel. We've known since the pilot that (at the very least) he doesn't believe in the hotel's message and only seeks entertainment.

I like to believe that yes, he can. Especially after seeing the little convo between him and Nifty. I like the idea of Alastor changing his mind and truly trying to help. But of course, we are talking about the king of manipulation and we've seen that he's actively trying to free himself from some sort of binds. When that happens, who knows what will transpire. Despite my hopes and wants, I do believe that Alastor is going to be the final antagonist.

He'll be like Shen from Kung Fu Panda 3, Evil and bitter to the very VERY end. I'm not sure if it'll be Charlie herself that defeats him, but if this is where the story is going I hope IT IS her. If he is truly shaping up to be the final villain, I hope that he isn't defeated in a single episode like Adam was. I want Alastor to be a massive threat that takes a few tries (maybe a few lives) to conquer. I know that Alastor is weak compared to the higher ups of Hell...but maybe that'll change when he's operating at max power.

Also, It could be just me, but I want his death/defeat to be dramatic and gruesome. Like- Ursula getting impaled type shit. If I was writing the supposed scene, I'd have it so that he feels a moment of regret before dying once and for all. But that's just the fanfic brain talking.

Anyhow, If you've read this far, let me know how you feel about the matter!

Honestly it's hard. He'd make a great villlain but I hope he will change!

But his song at the season finale where he said "guess who will be pulling all the string", Charlie's deal with Alastor will play a big part in future season I am sure.

I wonder how Lucifer's reaction gonna be tho when he finds out that Charlie made a deal with Alastor :0

I think Lucifer would freak out 🤭 But you actually brought up something pretty important - Lucifer. I had a mini theory that Lucifer would be able to break/negate soul contracts because he's literally the King of Hell...But that would be too easy wouldn't it :skull:

I bet he would! Which would be really interesting to see xD

Oh yeah, now that you mention that. I would imagine being the King of Hell Lucifer should be able to do that right. But I agree, I think it would be too easy.

Al probably gonna use this deal to take control or power right or at least have Charlie as his bargaining chip.

Do you think his fight against Lucifer is inevitable? Tho I can't imagine him winning at all, we already see just how powerful Lucifer is by beating Adam easily like that :0

Unless if he use this deal with Charlie to fight Lucifer

I DEFINITELY feel that Alastor and Lucifer are gonna have a proper duel but I feel as though we won't be seeing that ANNNNY time soon ya know?

Also; I think you perfectly predicted how it would turn out. Alastor would essentially dangle Charlie in front of Lucifer to get the victory.

I think he will change but that being said I think it will only get worse before it gets better. I think he has ties to Lilith or Roo someone who is a major antagonist. I believe he will have his villain moment but he will then change for one reason or another (Maybe whoever has in their bonds screw him over on their side of the deal). Then we will get a redemption arc and he will play a part in the last battle.

I like what you're thinking ^^ To be honest, I forgot about Roo when I posted this but it would make sense for her to be the one Alastor is tied up with.

How a villain should be! Any speculation on who may have him bound? Theres a lot of talk of it being Lilith how do you think that'd play out im kinda interested in your theory here

I think Lilith would be a great choice, because if and when Alastor betrays Charlie he can use that against her. It would definitely be something she'd struggle wirhz

What about Roo? I thought she was supposed to be the big bad of the series.
