No Matter What

The couple went back to their bed and as Lyra laid face down on the bed, Victor checked on Nova to make sure she was ok and she was fast asleep. He then stepped out to the balcony and Lyra caught on, so she ed him.

Victor: Some day we had.

Lyra: Like Alastor said, there's always tomorrow.

Victor: I get that, but if it's the same answers we've been getting just from this one day, I have a feeling nothing will change their mind. They're not like me and I don't think they will change like I did.

Lyra: You're not right about that, but that's not the way to think. We just have to keep pushing.

Victor: I guess so.

Lyra: It's going to be ok. We always get through these types of sticky situations.

Victor: You always were optimistic, but not as much as Charlie.

Lyra: Oh, you know what I mean.

Victor: I do. I just hope something could change for once.

Lyra: It took a while for me to change for the better.

Victor: 12 years is kind of a stretch on that same day I left the Vees and first met you.

Lyra: Sometimes, we just have to be patient and strong. Eventually, something will come up for the hotel.
