Cochallenge '20 - Ludic Lovers

I'm very pleased that for month of February this Amino is celebrating different variations of love in their Cupid's Odyssey Challenge. Though I wasn't able to submit anything in time for a prize entry, I still want to use it as a creative prompt.

Ludus

Love as a desire to have fun with each other

This variant was not part of the orginal prompt list, but when reading about the Color Wheel Theory of Love, this word stood out to me as it is the type of relationships that would like to focus on when "shipping" Alastor. Ludus is Latin for "Game", and is used to describe Dangerous Liaisons. Which means that the relationship is based on enjoyment of each other's presence, and lacks the expectation of monogamous devotion.

In particular, I'm interested in Alastor's relationship with Mimzy. I like to think that their attraction towards each other is bound by the amount of fun they have when together. However, I do expect a conflict of interest between the two as Mimzy is manic, while Alastor is more pragmatic. This means that Mimzy desires to be loved in a way that Alastor is not able to deliver, but he is willing to toy with her emotions in order to maintain their relationship.
