          Good day hpa! Welcome to the most

         renowned event of the winter, the

         HPA community awards!

         Instead of

         Avalyn, our former agent leader,

         who has since stepped down, I will

         be the one hosting this challenge

         and it's honestly thrilling to be

         able to continue the awards. I hope

         Avalyn can feel safe with the

         challenge in my hands and I'm happy

         to announce the HPA Community

         Awards 2022!

         There's a lot of things to look

         forward to in 2023 and 2022 has

         been an awfully eventful year! It

         wouldn't be right not to take this

         moment and celebrate all of our

         crazy that we adore and

         love so much. To be honest, this is

         my favourite challenge of the year

         and I can agree with the former

         host of this challenge that this is

         definitely a challenge worth

         participating in.

         Without further ado, welcome

         students and let's gather together

         and huddle for this great

         announcement that I shall bear in

         awesome wizarding fashion.

         To everyone who ed this month

         or this year, you might not know

         what this challenge is! The

         community awards take place each

         December and include 22 categories

         for which you can nominate any

         member of the community to win.

         All nominations are made in the form

         of blogs and the person with the

         most nominations wins that category

         and receives the title for it.

         The event is about positive

         celebration and appreciation for

         your fellow community . If

         you haven't taken part before, I

         recommend checking out last year's

         awards here: #hpaca2021

         You can see all of the lovely things

         people post and how blogs are

         formulated.

         The idea about this is to all get a

         chance to say thank you to the

         people who made this year better

         for us, and the community as a

         whole in a friendly way. We

         encourage to take part! It's not

         that serious, to be honest, and

         sometimes we mix a little humour

         with the nominations, so don't feel

         shy to participate!

         This is how it will work this time

         around:

         From today, the nominations have

         opened!

         You can create your nomination blogs

         starting today, just make sure to

         get them posted before the

         deadline. All blogs and the

         nominations they have will be

         counted, with the final submission

         date being the 26th of December at

         13:00/1PM CET, if its posted any

         later, it will not count with the

         final counting I'm afraid.

         The results will be released by the

         31st of December, making new year's

         eve a special occasion for the

         award ceremony blog.

  

          Sooo, the fun part of this

         challenge. What will be this

         year's categories?

         We've made some changes to the

         loving classic categories and

         decided just like last year, to

         look at what is most prominent in

         our community and popular amongst

         our to see what categories

         we shall be presenting.

         Here is what you can nominate people

         for:

         Best Blogger

         Best Editor

         Best Artist

         Best Debater

          Best Fanfiction Author

         Best Group*

          Best Challenges†

         § Two names must be nominated

         together, titles will be given to

         the most nominated pairing, not the

         two most nominated individuals.

         How do you keep to the rules?

         1. Excluding the Godparent award

         where a pairing must be nominated,

         you may only nominate one person

         for each award. All your

         nominations must be in a single

         blog from your primary . You

         may not submit additional

         nominations from a second .

         If doing so, both nominations are

         disqualified from partaking in the

         hpa community awards.

         2. You may not nominate yourself.

         This includes a group you're in, a

         challenge you made, a quiz you made

         or another person along with

         yourself as Godparent.

         3. All nominations must have a link

         to the you want to

         nominate.

         4. You may not nominate groups for

         up to three individual categories.

         5. You may not nominate an

         individual for up to 3 categories

         total within your nomination blog.

         6. Generally, no foul play. Anyone

         with malintent regarding the

         nominations or results will be

         disqualified. This includes,

         bribery, Blackmail, attempting a

         publicity stunt for yourself or

         others, commissioning votes, using

         coins to influence or influencing

         others, abusing the spirit of the

         challenge, self nominations.

         7. A title is a title. They don't

         offer any benefits, privileges

         outside the event and anyone

         pretending otherwise is probably

         lying. The Festive spirit of this

         challenge is at forefront at all

         times.

         8. Everyone can win at most one

         category. This does not include if

         you're also in the winning category

         of Best Group. If given multiple

         titles, they will get to pick 1

         title to win.

         9. In case of a tie breaker, we will

         count up only the featured

         nominations and make a call from

         there. Featured nominations don't

         call any more than non featured

         nominations in any other time other

         than a tie breaker for a category.

         10. Enjoy yourselves!

         Entries from this challenge can

         naturally be featured. Loosening

         our usual guidelines, entries from

         this challenge do not have to be

         harry potter related in order to be

         considered for a feature. Although,

         we would appreciate if you took the

         time to yassify your b real

         hp fashion.

         We’ll be looking for high quality

         posts, have plenty of detailing

         about who they are nominating and

         why they nominate them. Try to

         include some links to their best

         posts for example or shower them

         with compliments. The best

         nominations for the winners will be

         included in the results post so

         take your time to make things extra

         special.

         Make sure to use plenty of images,

         and don’t forget this year’s

         hashtag #hpaca2022

         The last thing is posting your blog

         into a house category. Not only

         will you earn your house 25 points

         or 50 if it is featured, but every

         single person you nominate will

         receive 10 points, providing they

         made their own nomination blog.

         This means everyone should

         participate to win the house cup.

         Last year’s event was splendid and

         overwhelming! It never truly goes

         smoothly and people still try to

         vote on multiple s. The aim

         of the challenge is to nominate

         OTHERS, not to BE nominated. While

         it is lovely if you get nominated,

         the real aim of the challenge is to

         amplify our community with warm

         words and well wishes for your

         fellow community that made

         this year extra special. It is a

         not a immature popularity contest,

         so let’s prove to our own community

         that we can do this, this year as

         well! If not, I will personally

         come and strike down your door with

         eboy finn.

         We have the right to withdraw any

         prizes associated with this

         challenge if the moderation team

         feels like a participant isn’t

         behaving accurately.

         Honestly, thanks to ava this blog

         was written cause to be honest, I

         had no clue how to host this

         challenge without her smart

         processing and making the hpa

         awards for years. So, huge thanks

         to ava for helping me with the blog

         layout, cause I copied half of it.
