I felt like I jinxed myself… :broken_heart:

I have some sad news, not to long ago I told you guys about how my 4 year old hamster Moxxie was doing and how I wondered how much longer he would be with me. He was doing good despite being so old. But the other night I noticed he wasn’t being active at all, he stayed in his multi chamber hide that he always slept in. I left his favorite treat out just to be sure he was doing ok without disturbing him and when I woke up and noticed it hadn’t been touched, and so I checked on him and when I did I was hoping he was just being a lazy little guy but instead I was met with heart break, I found that he had ed away. I buried him at my parent’s place today in the backyard that is the resting place of many of my other childhood pets. And now I just can’t help but feel sad, idk if I should or would get a new hamster anytime soon, I have leftover hamster food, and hamster supplies and I might try and clean them and donate them. I’m just not quite sure yet though because idk if I want to, if I do get rid of anything right now it would probably just be the food so it doesn’t go bad or go to waste. I’m hurt by even thinking of taking his enclosure apart, even though I know I would have to do it soon. :cry:
