Yesterday I began to hear out of nowhere some clicking sounds from Chocolat.
I went in panic mode because I thought the worst already, but I don't know if it's bruxism or an infection.
I thought she might be frightened because yesterday there was a lot of people and they tend to enter mom's room back and forth because they store their stuff here. Unfortunately the room is the quietest room so I don't have any space that is more quite than the room.
I heard it today too while she was resting, but I don't see changes, she was also active yesterday after the people went home.
I don't hear squeaking or wheezing, just a clicking sound like lil rocks beating against each other. (I have a video)
But I'm scared it might be something more than bruxism, how would I know that?
Do I need to go to the vet, I can't afford to go without a reason, mom won't let me and she thinks everytime I overthink (which most of the case is like that).

I searched it up and it seems to be a lot more common than I thought. Some people say it's a way of expressing excitement (like how cats pur) and others say it might be linked to a respiratory infection, as you mentioned earlier, and they need to be rushed urgently to the vet. This whole "clicking out of excitement" does not sound right and I advize you to go to the vet. I've dealt with a lot of animal ings (dogs, cats, hamsters) and in my many years of being a pet owner, I've noticed a pattern of behaviours of my pets a few days before their death. Often times I got a gut feeling that something was wrong and I made sure to stick to it no matter what my parents said. ALWAYS listen to your gut feeling and if that noise if something that's bothering you, please don't ignore it. Talk to your mother about it and explain how important it is to you to get it checked out. I really hope that everything works out and that your hammy will be okay :heartpulse:
I am not that worried because she is eating, drinking and using her wheel
But I am trying to convince mom to give her a general check up like every animal need, she said okay but my problem will be convincing her to actually call for an appointment, I'll try my best, hopefully it'll be okay :pensive:
