It’s Golazo here and I’m going to do a quick poll in order to make up for my mass amounts of inactivity. So as you know the UEFA Champions League knockout round is finally here and it’s started off in exciting, yet controversial, fashion.
So here’s the deal Ajax got a corner and scored but the goal was disallowed. The reason the goal got disallowed was because of goalkeeper interference. Personally I never knew this was a thing but the rule is you can’t block the keeper from going to get a ball.
This can mean holding them by their jersey or getting in front of them. So there was a lose ball and the Ajax player tried to get it and unintentionally blocked Courtois from getting the ball. Along with him unintentionally blocking Courtois the player was slightly offside as well so yeah. According to the rule book the goal should’ve been disallowed, which it was, but what do you guys think.
Here’s the clip if you haven’t seen it. I couldn’t find a clip that showed every angle and stuff so here’s the highlights the clip starts at 1:15. Ajax VS Real Madrid highlights.

It wasn’t only keeper interference(which has always been a thing). After the header, an Ajax player kind of kicked the ball toward Courtois. Based on that touch, he was indeed offside
It’s ridiculous, the VAR is mes football, the keeper came out and Tadić couldn’t teleport himself away. And the keeper came out, therefore Tadić couldn’t help it.
The second Real Madrid goal also shouldn’t have counted for Real as Frenkie de Jong got bulldozerd by a Real Madrid player before the goal.

It wasn’t allowed for him being offside only, it got dissallowed for hindering the keeper, which he didn’t do in my opinion.

He did
Like they follow everything in the rule book, if they did, Real Madrid would not have won against Atlético Madrid. This isn't the first time tho. This has been continuing since 2013 when Nani was sent off against Real Madrid.
Offside. Read my response

It wasn't offside as Tadic never tempted to play the ball besides it wasn't the only bad call.
That was a goal. He was not even in front of Cortoius he was behind him lmao
It was offside read my response
