- It's soluble in water. Solubility is 359g/L

- Has a molar mass of 58.4g/mol

- Ionic compound.

- Melting point: 801 degrees celsius

- Chemical formula: NaCl.

- In a 1:1 ratio of sodium and chloride ions.

- 100g of NaCl contains 39.34g Na and 60.66g Cl.

- CAS number: 7647-14-5

- Has a density of 2.165g/cm3

- Its estimated lethal dose in humans is 3kg. Pretty sure I have more

HEAVILY OPINIONATED POST AHEAD. STEER CLEAR IF YOU GET EASILY TRIGGERED

Here's yet another rant. I'm trying to practice my essay writing skills, so I can write better essays in school. Me mam wants me to score well or my pc is gonna get confiscated.

In this post, I'm going to cover 3 topics.

Xovyan - The fall.

As you all know, xov got demoted pretty recently. I wanted to do a post on that, but I didn't have the time. Finally got the inspiration today.

So I'll be covering a few points on this:

- When?

- What?

Xovyan got demoted by EPC, after (I presume) a discussion amongst the mod team. (Gabe said that Xael and him got sick of her tyranny or something like that. May add chat logsif needed)

- Why?

Xov was honestly abusing her power (for lack of a better description) and letting her emotions cloud her judgement on moderating the community, instead of actually following the mod rules, to the point where many people hated her. Also, she did get a lot of hate from people who's friends got banned, even if the banned person deserved it. Don't get me wrong, Xovyan is a good leader, but not a good people oriented person.

- Affected?

Xov: She got demoted.

Sonic: Demoted himself.

Gabe: Promoted to leader.

Garchi: Promoted to leader.

Sully: Promoted to curator.

- Future?

In my opinion, Xov was actually a good leader. Albeit the things she did which caused people to hate her, she was very active during her tenure as leader, running the leaderboards most of the time, organizing a number of events (e.g. Monthly Challenges) and so on. I personally think that if Xov can show that she can set aside emotions and not act based on them, then she should deserve a second chance at this.

GDA megacollabs.

I've noticed that these mc's seem to be popping up lately like the plague. Well, here's what I think.

- What?

Megacollab posts (or the abundance thereof).

- When?

Megacollab posts have dated back for about as far as I (which isn't much), but will likely continue for a long while.

- My thoughts?

Honestly, I feel that a majority of these mc's were just started on a whim. Maybe some saw megacollab posts and decided to the hype train with theirs. However, a number of these which are asking for don't actually have many people who . Likely the post didn't receive enough attention as it wasn't feature worthy, and this will very easily kill the prospects of a megacollab even starting.

Those are just a couple examples.

- Future?

I suggest that if you are hosting a megacollab with the intent for it to actually succeed, you should have proper planning and organization of the megacollab. Making your recruitment post for creators feature worthy is going to give your post a large boost and help it get recognition in a while. Most importantly? Don't let it die. If some member is taking way too long, you could maybe skip them or something.

GDA demons list.

Shoutout to Tato for his efforts to set up and maintain this community's very own demons list. However, I have some words to say about it.

- My thoughts?

I gotta commend Tato on this. It was a good idea on his part, to get the then dying community revived by creating a set of community-created challenges for others in the community to enjoy. I, personally, own like 5 levels in that list. However, in recent times, the level completion/submission rate has been on the decline. Most GDA demon list recaps done by Tato nowadays all have this familiar sentence: "No new records were submitted this week." The level submission rate also has been on the decline, but this can likely be attributed to many levels still in WIP. It's disheartening to see what Tato put in so much effort into not really receiving much attention (it did when the idea first came out, but now not so much anymore - my evidence? A comment stagnation period of 22 days.) and I feel that it's really an excellent idea which deserves more attention. So if you're reading this, go check out the demons list.
