More Power Baby!!

What's up Garage Amino!? Long time no see....

A lot has changed since I last posted 3 years ago, and it's crazy to think it's been that long! One big change is that I decided to go a bit crazy, adding more power to the Maxima by installing a Vortech VS1 Supercharger!

That's right, a SUPERCHARGER on Grandma's Maxima!!

I happened to stumble upon this one out in California for a good deal and just couldn't help myself. Especially since complete kits are so hard to come by. The kit looks almost exactly like the one above, except mine has the unpainted aluminum mounting bracket instead of the red one.

I tackled the project myself, spending about a month working in the garage a few hours after work each night trying to get things just right. It was quite a project for the DIY mechanic that I am, but it was amazing when completed! I mean just look at how Badass the supercharger looks crammed into the engine bay of "Grandma's Maxima"

The Final Product

This car was fun before, but now it's a blast and super unique. I get asked about it all the time when I go to cars and coffee. Plus, it makes fun supercharger noises!
