Neon or Civic, Civic will be cheaper.
Honda will be pretty cheap, and will last you a lifetime if you take car of her! I speak with experience on this one.
I would say go with the neon or a cavalier but they blow trans way too quickly compared to the civic plus there is a bigger market for the civic
