Quick announcement, this is the last issue in volume one, and to celebrate our old staff, long hiatus, new writers and so, so many versions of "Oh no, I have GtLive this week" we've decided to take a short break!
And no, this one won't last months. We'll be taking a two week break, so the next issue will be coming out a month from now.

Glad to see you starting this Newsletter off with me!
Going straight to the point on this one; the first video I'll be discussing is MatPat's most recent Fortnight theory. As he and many other theorists find themselves in a race against time in this extraordinary lore which Fortnight holds, it may be more impressive than you think. Not only do mysterious and rather odd stuff pop up in the game, oh no! This is a theory where the reality in our world intertwines with a digital screen. A lore with unexpected and a bit disappointing occurances turn oh so abruptly in the direction we barely expected.

Continuing on with our Newsletter, here's a theory that lingers more with one of the Internet's star gaming YouTubers- Markiplier! A man starred in many collaborations, let's plays, vlogs and so much more. Here, MatPat attempts to uncover the secrets and hidden tale behind one of the many portions to Markiplier's channel; his several personas. Ranging from the manipulative, sinister seeming and aesthetically dark Darkiplier to the oddly cheery Wilford Wurfstach. (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm such a horrible millennial) With murders, mysteries, revenge and insanity laced within the never ending plot, watch the vid to find out more!

DIDN'T EXPECT TO SEE ME HERE, DID YA? At least assuming you've noticed the pattern with who has what role each issue. Cats called in sick, so I'm taking over for her part.
I have not watched the first part of the Disney Princesses theory. But HEY, I don't have to. Narwhal gave Princesses quite the spotlight, didn't she?
She didn't actually report too much on the theory itself, but fuck it.
So, what makes a Disney Princess in the eyes of Wreck-It Ralph 2? Actually, that's simple. Money. Looking at the Princesses in the room, you can see the Princesses have been in their movies have made at least made $100M USD in America. What do you know? Vanellope counts, with over $189M USD just in America alone.
By the way, are we just completely ignoring that Anna and Elsa aren't actually in the Disney Princesses line?
Hang on, I spot a wrinkle here. Let's see... Oh, the James Gunn controversy. Fun.
Yeah, Vanellope's actress, Sara Silverman, had pretty vulgar and over the top jokes, and, uh... I'm not sure how this is going to get Vanellope off, MatPat. I'm sorry. There's a difference between firing a director and replacing an actress.
Anyway, onto the next one. What's this, "Mrs. Doubtfire?" I have no idea what that is.

What's that? A Robin Williams film where a voice actor who has been divorced and his wife gets the custody, so he switches between himself and a British nanny with spectacular prosthetics? Huh.
And MatPat believes Robin's character should be arrested and put in jail for up to 50 years?
First, let's see where and when this takes place so we can use the right laws. Many landmarks of San Francisco, California are shown in the movie and a real business in the San Francisco area is used in the climax. The movie was released in 1993, so if any laws pointed out are outdated, that's why.
Let's take a look at his violations, then.
First off, he throws an irresponsible party against his wife's wishes and breaks two laws, possession of hooved animals in a residential area, and a noise violation, which is $100 USD each, with 30 days in prison for the former (which may be waived, assuming it's his first offense). That'd be at least $200 USD in fines and 30 days in prison in... The first 7 minutes of the movie. Yikes.
So I already mentioned the divorce and nanny scheme, so let's skim over that explanation. In the movie, we see that the wife has gotten herself a new boyfriend, who surprisingly seems genuine about his love for the wife and the kids. Shocker considering the tropes of the time. But Robin's character just has to ruin that, doesn't he? First off, he takes the ornament off the boyfriend's Mercedes. That'd be ruled as vandalism over $1000 USD and a year in jail. Then there's throwing a lime at him while in a bar. That'd be battery, willful and unlawful use of violence against another. Six months in jail and $2000 USD just for that.
Oh, and Robin's character ALMOST KILLED THE BOYFRIEND. Disguised as a chef this time, he puts pepper on a dish going to boyfriend, knowing VERY WELL he's allergic to pepper. Robin's character may have saved his life in the end, but it's still a crime. There's plenty of crimes this could be charged for. Poisoning, reckless endangerment, battery, assault with a deadly weapon... The worst out of those would add 4 years of jail time and $10,000 USD. The total now is $13,200 USD IN FINES AND 10+ YEARS IN PRISON.
Is it "one more thing" time? I think it's "one more thing" time.
AND THERE'S ONE THING WE HAVEN'T EVEN BROUGHT UP YET! THAT DIVORCE CASE? Robin's character was only allowed a few hours with his kids every Saturday, which he knew about and actively went against in this elaborate scheme. Specifically, contempt of court. It was revealed at the end of the movie that it had been two months since the divorce.
Contempt of court is $1,000 USD in fines and one year in jail, and in this case, each is a separate offense. Assuming this was a five-day thing for eight weeks, that's 40 years in prison and $40,000 USD in fines. Add everything else and the total is 50+ YEARS IN PRISON AND OVER $53,000 USD IN FINES. And while these ARE the higher extremes and he could receive parole, we can all agree that this feels warranted. And what makes this worse is this could have been much easier. He could have waited three months and gotten a job and house in that time, and he even knows how illegal what he's doing is.
Anyway, don't expect to see me again, Sofa will do the Amino part.

Ok! So we've started to get back into real gtlives this week! We also got some more clues in the gt(not)live timeline of that's what you're into. But hey! Whatever floats your boat.
So first off we have the well anticipated collab, Safiya and Matpat! Yes, everyone wanted this. Anyway they both test out some cRaZy BEauTy ProDuctS (as you do) and it's pretty w-w-w-wiiild! Nice stream, guys! AND A LIVE ONE!

I know I hyped it up but this stream is a nice chill puzzle game with some nice crazy "wth" scenes. (So a nice watch for when you're doing homework, writing a gtan section, ect.)
It is a rage game but we don't talk about that
