Working with Flicka

Hello hello! Hope your day is well! Welcome back to another post! Today I am just going to be giving you guys a little update on my girlie Flick and how things with her are going, so let’s begin!

So yesterday (Sunday the 24th), I got on Flicka to work on a few things and give her a workout. I started with a walk, trot, lope both ways before I worked on some turns, backing up and just keeping her in shape. Once I had done that, I decided to work with Flicka on some barrels. To my surprise, Flicka acted like she knew exactly what she was doing. It was truly a good ride and awesome experience.

I’m super happy with Flicka in those two videos. Of course any is appreciated!

This one was a little rough at the end, but I like how she picked up the correct lead.

Today’s post is a little on the shorter side, but I had fun making it! I also have a bit of news to share with you all, I am competing with Flicka this weekend! This is the first time I have ever competed with Flick, so I am super excited to see how it goes! I am also trying to convince my sister to let me do some on the ground stuff with Sissy. I will definitely post about how this weekend goes, too! Anyway, I hope to see you next time!
