Ok so here we go...

How long have you been riding for?

I started riding when I was about 5. I did it once a month for about a year. I moved and then stopped for a bit. When I was 7 I started again, this time doing western. And then I stopped for a year and resumed about 2 years ago. I’m 13 now, so we can say about 7 year’s ago I started.

Why do you love horses?

When I started riding English, I did it for therapy. Honestly, if it weren’t for horses, I probably would not even be here anymore. Horses saved me when times were tough and I would think of myself to be useless without them.

What’s your favorite horse breed?

If it’s going to be personality, it has to be the fjord. They have cheeky moments but overall they are just the sweetest and take care of their riders. But personally, I like Thoroughbreds or TB crosses because they are athletic and long strides which I love.

So, now for the update on Whimsy

(If you don’t know what happened to whimsy, read this blog.)

So, Whimsy recently got her wrap off but still has her stitches in. She will be on stall rest until after christmas and cannot be worked until the new year. So, it’s not the best news but that’s all I’ve got for now. When I go to the barn, I spend around 30 minutes in the stall with her and give her treats. Here are a few picture and videos from this Saturday.
