Hi EA! So last December I went xc schooling! It was super fun and I’d love to do it again. This is not with my barn, I had a lesson with an eventing trainer at the barn that owns the facility. I rode her adorable ottb, Zayed. At the time I didn’t make a post, but here ya go!

First I warmed up on the flat in one of the facilities big rings, then went out to the xc field!

I started by doing a few small log jumps. Then I did a few into water which was so fun!

Zeyad was amazing and had such a cute jump! He was a lot different to ride than the crazy pony I rode at the time :see_no_evil:

It was definitely different jumping solid obstacles, but it was really cool to try something new

With such a steady canter, it was really easy to see distances with Zayed.

Overall, it was amazing and I’d love to try it again! I definitely have an even bigger respect for event riders now that I’ve tried xc!

okay ur eq is still like absolutely in these vids but it’s so cool to see how you’ve improved in a year :heart_eyes:
