Aragus chuckled at Hermes's response. He lifted himself up, hooked his arms over the wall, and crossed them. "No? What a shame. How about you help a traveler out, eh? I hear you're the patron saint of all travelers or something." He said it almost half heartedly like he didn't care to . He holds out his hand to Hermes. "Help me into the palace. There's guards at every damn entrance." He thinks for a moment. Though it was not required or even needed, he made an offer. "In return I won't pelt you with rocks."

The sea god grunted in disapproval at the nickname but said nothing more of it. "You need to work on your flying ability," he countered. "Who knew Olympus’ messenger flew with the grace of a rock." He stepped back when he deemed Hermes clean enough. He learned to ignore the young god’s antics—most of the time. "No, I would not know, for I do not fly," he muttered irritably. He attempted to leave when Hermes spoke up again. No, he was not enjoying this party.

"It’s splendid," he answered, not even trying to be convincing. His toothy grin seemed more a threat more than anything else, but it disappeared quickly, and his tone grew into sarcasm. "Did it take you long to figure that out?" Poseidon swirled his cup before taking a larger swig of ambrosia, hoping the liquid would make this party more bearable. "Neither of us spend as much time around people as your father, you know. Places like these are not exactly our habitat." Another swig. "Enjoying yourself, I presume? Aside from landing yourself on the floor—thank the stars for clean tiles." He lifted his goblet in a small, halfhearted toast.
