Astyanax was still dropped off the wall by Odysseus. After they had left and the flames died down, a random erby that was Apollo in disguise from Troy that managed to survive the attack found Astyanax nestled in a bush, crying. Due to Hector being favored by Apollo, the sun god had intervened and made sure his tiny body would be cradled and ed as he fell, allowing him to survive the fall. The sun god picked him up and left troy. He found a woman in a neighboring city that would be able to care for astyanax and raise him to be a fine warrior. By the time Astyanax was nine years old, he had formed a bond with Ares (I will ask them about this) and the god had become his mentor, opening his eyes to the man behind the destruction of troy. Astyanax turned to the woman that had raised him, requesting to sail to Ithaca. The woman nodded and took Astyanax to the docks where a ship with a crew was waiting for them. Astyanax hugged the woman tightly and promised that he would write to her as often as he could. The young prince then turned to the crew and boarded the ship, instructing them to set course for ithaca. After a year, the ship docked in ithaca. Astyanax was now ten years old, having celebrated his tenth birthday at sea.
