Warning From The Future || Weekend Challenge

Hello Everyone!

Welcome to another post. Today I’m bringing you the weekend challenge for this week!! In honor of the Ides of March (this is a historical event you can look it up), but essentially this is based on the idea of “Beware the Ides of March” but it’s less about threatening the future and more about warning someone of something that will happen. This might not make sense to you but I promise it will if you read. The challenge for this month is centered around making an alternative reality after you warn any disney character about an event of their future.

The Theme

The theme for this is to do anything you want to (within reason, I guess) and discuss what you would do if you could tell one disney character something about their future in advance. You can talk, or edit and talk, make art, etc. about what you would say and how it would/could change the story, etc. The theme is pretty straight forward, so just have fun with it and let us see what alternate timeline you can come up with! Make sure you’re being appropriate (you can reference the original stories but if it contains something inappropriate please avoid including that).

An example: If I could warn Anna about Hans from Frozen, I would tell her that Hans is a horrible person because of the future I come from where he tries to get rid of Elsa. Anna might be resistant as she was when Elsa told her that, or she might take my word for it and the plot of Frozen never kicks off and Anna never gets to know her sister because they return to their forced distant relationship.

The Rules

1. Content can be whatever you want as long as it’s your own work.

2. Be appropriate (don’t add extreme gore, nsfw, etc.).

3. Talk a bit about how the alternate reality that you make would or would not change the story.

4. Include the hashtags #CuratorReview.

Conclusion

I look forward to seeing what you all come up with!! This is, hopefully, a pretty interesting challenge and I hope you all have fun. I love generating alternate timelines and universes in my brain so I hope other people do as well (you probably don’t but it’s fine). Anyway, this isnt too complicated so enjoy.
