It may seem like a somewhat egocentric choice, but Mardi Gras is one of my favorite holidays, so I HAD TO create a Disney Mardi Gras mask. Trust me, I tried to control myself.

My pick

For this challenge I decided to design a mask inspired by the Cheshire Cat from the movie Alice in Wonderland. I chose this character because of his iconic smile, which makes for a cool mask. Cheshire cat screams mardi gras to me, at least the way we celebrate in my region, which is all about fun, mischievousness and nonsense. For this design I chose the most well-known features of the Cheshire cat, which are the smile, the ears and the long striped tail. The tail is attached to the back of the mask.

To draw the mask I used medibang paint pro, as always, on my wacom tablet. It took me about 30 minutes to finish this. My favorite part was brainstorming the design and sketching out what was in my head before deciding on this final design. I hope you like the final product!
