Action Figure Review: DA Digivolving Spirits 04 Angewomon

Recently I received a late birthday present of the new Digimon Adventures Digivolving Spirits 04 Angewomon.

The figure costs $64.99, for those who may want to get one for themselves. This is the first poseable version of Angewomon, since the Megahouse Digimon Adventure: Angewomon & Hikari G.E.M. PVC Figure which has now become limited (due to the way it was crafted).

Anyway let's take a look at the latest Angewomon figure!

Transforms from Gatomon to Angewomon

Presentation

The box art is really nice at it shows both Gatomon and Angewomon together. As well as showing what parts of her are diecast material on the figure, while examining the features from the description. Along with a small preview for the 5th figure of Alphamon.

On one end it shows Gatomon and on the other Angewomon. Also the figure itself from what the box says is for those 15 and up. Which means that you have to be real careful

Detail and Articulation

So as I unboxed the figure Angewomon's very detailed, her ts work well from legs and arms. She has a hole in her back that connects to a peg for her wings/ gatomon. Which is pretty neat, and luckily had an instruction manual. But of course mostly in Japanese. But, if you look at the images from it, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Now Gatomon's transformation is complex, if you've had a transformers toy in your life is at that level. I tried to transform her to Gatomon I was afraid to damage her. So the person who helped me with the manual and figure commented, "That the manual does give a warning, the paint will rub off." So I suggest to be very careful when handling.

Note: The figure I received has a factory defect from the paint, as you'll see from the photo below. The purple mark was found while examining the articulation of the figure.

So to conclude my analysis, the figure itself is a wonderful collection piece. But be mindful of handling the transformation sequence. Is it worth the price it's selling for online no, but the diecast metal itself is what helps Angewomon stand out.

Plus if you have a stage 5 stand for action figures it works well if you want to display Angewomon out of the box.
