Red X first appears in the episode of Teen Titans ‘Masks’. The episode aired on September 20th, 2003 where Robin(Dick Grayson) dawns the Red X persona to side with Deathstroke in order to know his plans. He ultimately fails in doing so as Slade always knew Red X was robin. This lead to a fight with him and Slade, but gets intercepted by his team. Red X showed the Teen Titans that it was him all along, leaving his team to a shock as he chases after Slade. The two continued to fight on the roof top, Slade taunts Robin of his obsession with him. Doing so much, gathering the chips, and now breaking his trust with his team.
Robin was finally able to best Slade, only to figure out it was just a robot. Now, he has no lead on Slade. No information on what’s on the chips, and is left with the Teen Titans that he betrayed. Robin goes back to the Titans tower with his team, and immediately goes to his room. Where in a few moments later Starfire comes into the room, questioning why he did what he did. This ended in an argument, before Starfire saying sadly. “You and Slade do have one thing in common. You don’t trust anyone”That’s the end of Grayson’s run as Red X, now time to go to the 2nd Red X. My favorite version of him.
Red X returns in the episode ‘X’ where someone unknown steals the suit of Red X which was formerly Robin. He turns out to be a thief, selfish, and an anti villain. During the episode, Red X fights the Teen Titans, which he beats. He goes to teleport away, but the suit malfunctions having to run from Robin. They get on the roof where X finally gets his suit to work and teleports away. This episode was released in the 3rd season on September 4th, 2004. He then reappears later on in the episode where he goes to retrieve something to keep the suit running before the Titans intercept him. He then later saves Robin from falling off a railing, helping him defeat a villain that’s about to obliterate the city. In the end, they both win before Red X goes to leave. But, Robin steals his utility belt, rendering him useless without it. Red X says “Not bad kid” before jumping off the balcony into the clouds.

While it’s not known how long the Future State Teen Titans will last, Red X will be apart of it as a former student of the Teen Titans!

Teleportation/Phasing
Red X’s suit is able to teleport short distances from battles, even able to somewhat phase between attacks using this ability in the TV series.
Invisibility
The suit also provides invisibility, able to blend in with surroundings more.
X Gadgets
These multiple categorized gadgets allow him to gain the advantage in battle. He has multiple gadgets probably each scenario, one for making the ground split in an X, making X blades to cut through things. X covers(??) that cover someone’s mouth with a very bendable sticky material. Explosive X’s, and X’s that act like a shuriken. Last but not least a gadget for tasing(a x that can hit anything that’s a good conductor for electricity and shoots out red electricity in a x frying anything that it touches) and pulling(shoots an sticky X that extends from the 4 ends grabbing any object that it touches, before retracting it into the center).

Athleticism
Red X is very athletic, weather it’s Dick Grayson or the imposter version he’s super athletic.
Hand to Hand combat
Both versions know how to utilize they’re powers and how to fight. Both have taken down the Teen Titans, and the imposter version is able to face Dick Grayson who was trained by Batman easily.
Stealth
Both are very capable of sneaking, stealth being they’re strong suits they sure don’t disappoint in this category.

Being Human
They are still human, so they both have the same weakness of a human. Extreme hot and cold temperatures, speed, strength, ect.
Malfunctions
The suit can still get malfunctioned, so this is a big flaw of weakness for the suit. If the opponent knows how to utilize this, it could be the end Red X.
Low Power
The suit does need power in order to keep running, and using its unlimited gadgets. If they don’t have the power, the suit will be useless.
EMP’s
The suit is high tech, so it would still be able to taken down from EMP’s. But seem how it’s very lightweight, they person will still be able to move around and fight.
