Welcoming Committee Applications!

I’m Barbara, and I’m here to give

you all an important   message.

It’s time for the Welcoming Com-

mittee to recruit new ,

and we are hoping to see new

fresh faces to us in welcom-

ing new to the com-

munity. If you are unsure as to

what we do   as a group, check

out our   group wiki   which will

hopefully    help     answer    your

questions ─ however, if it leaves

you    having    more    questions,

don’t hesitate to ask them in the

comments     below!     Hopefully

this has gotten your attention,

so keep on reading to find out

more   and   see how   you   can

become    our    next   welcomer!

The job is simple.   As a part of

the    team,      you’ll     make    a

welcoming message which will

include important links (such as

community     guidelines)     and

chats (such as the help desk),

that are meant to guide the new

         around           the

community   and   give   them a

warm welcome. your fellow wel-

comers will help you get started.

Just like   other   teams   of the

community,    we    have    some

requirements you need to meet

in   order    to       the   team!

You      must       follow       the

community              guidelines.

You must be level 8 or higher.

Welcome at least a

few            times           weekly.

Be kind and respectful to the

   and    those   you

are                         welcoming!

You must answer the following

questions in your application in

order               to                apply;

1) What would you like to be

called,   as well   as what   are

your                           pronouns?

2) Why do you want to be a

welcomer of the community?

3) Do you have any previous

welcoming            experience?

4) Do   you   work   well   with

others, specifically in a team?

5) Are you responsible with

your            work             ethic?

6) Please include a screenshot

of    your    activity   stats    in

your                        application.

in   the   comments    below   for

easier access as well! Once you

are done filling them out, please

either post them in a blog with

the hashtag; #WelcomingApps

so we won’t miss them OR you

can   PM   them   to   the   group

leader,   linked   here:   Barbara.

Applications   are    open   from

April 8th until further notice.

This post will have “[CLOSED]”

in the title as an end deadline.
