Plot

After a brutal mission leaves Jason Todd critically wounded, he slips into a coma — but his soul doesn’t rest. Instead, it finds itself in the presence of Death of the Endless, the gentle and ancient entity who governs the end of all things.

But Death isn’t here to claim him — not yet. She’s intrigued. Jason has died before, and returned. That alone makes him a strange anomaly. She offers him a choice: walk with her for a day and see what his existence truly means… or go back to the endless cycle of violence he’s trapped in.

Jason reluctantly agrees.

Together, they traverse the paths of people Jason’s life has touched — from Bruce Wayne to Joker, from victims he’s saved to ones he’s killed. Through each encounter, Jason is forced to confront his identity: is he a failed Robin, a violent vigilante, or something more?

Meanwhile, in the waking world, a mystic cult seeks to exploit Jason’s liminal state to open a gateway into the realm of the Endless. Their interference starts to tear the boundary between realms — and Death warns Jason: if the barrier falls, countless souls could be lost.

Jason must now make a final choice: return to life and face the pain, or help Death restore the balance… at the cost of his second chance.
