As you insert the tape into the player. The screen flickers to life, showing Dr. Stella, a determined look on her face, standing in front of a bank of monitors. Alarms blare in the background, casting an eerie red glow over the room.
A woman suddenly appeared on the screen, she was wearing a lab coat and had on various Fatui garb, she seemed to be a highly respected individual within the Fatui’s R&D team. “This is Dr. Stella of the Fatui Research Division. I repeat, do not attempt to Site: Epsilon. The containment breach is beyond control. I'm issuing a warning to all Fatui containment teams: stay away from Site: Epsilon at all costs. The Flood has overrun the facility! I repeat, The Flood has overrun the facility!”
She glanced nervously at the monitors, where chaotic scenes of destruction and carnage unfold. Hearing the sounds of various Flood Forms and Fatui Skirmishers doing combat outside. She looked at the camera once more:
Her voice was trembling with fear. “ We underestimated the power of the Flood. It's adapting faster than we anticipated. Our containment measures have failed. We are outmatched, outgunned, and outnumbered. It's spreading faster than previously thought.”
She gasps as the sound of pounding footsteps can be heard approaching from down the hallway. Dr. Stella's eyes widen in fear as she glances over her shoulder. Several tears were rolling down her cheeks.
Dr. Stella was now frantic, and sobbing. “I have to go. If anyone is receiving this transmission, do not attempt a rescue mission. Site: Epsilon is lost. I repeat, it's lost. I say again it's lost. I hope God has mercy upon our souls… We have just unleashed a terrible blight upon this world.”
As she speaks, the camera shakes violently, and a horde of shadowy figures can be seen converging on her location. With a final, terrified glance at the camera, Dr. Stella turns and flees, the sound of her footsteps echoing off the walls. Suddenly, the camera falls to the floor, capturing only the chaotic blur of movement as the Flood closes in. Letting loose a horrible scream as the horde yells in unison giving chase leaving Dr. Stella's fate…uncertain.
